If a card cannot be verified, it is not graded. Anything the instruments do not clear goes to a person.

Before any customer’s card arrives, the process is tested blind on cards whose truth we already know.
The result is recorded on the certificate, beside the grade. Card Genius is in preview: the authenticity process is being built and tested for the pilot, and the example card on this site has not been through it.

Whitening, chips and rough cuts around the full perimeter.
Surface
Scratches, print lines, dents and stains, read under changing light.
Coloring
Fading, toning and print registration, compared with how the card left the press.
These are the measures in the preview, in three areas. The standard can grow, and every report names the measures it scored. Card Genius is in preview: the method is still being calibrated, and the example scores show the report design rather than grade this copy.

Front and back, under controlled light. Photographs that leave wear nowhere to hide.

Authenticate
The card is verified as genuine before anything else. A card that cannot be verified is not graded.

Grade
The AI maps centering and size, corners and edges, surface and coloring, and scores each one. Measured, never guessed.
- 04
Certify
A person signs off before anything is issued. The result arrives with its evidence, on a certificate anyone can open and check.
